What we collect

From funeral homes: account name, email, funeral home details, and the obituary information you enter — the deceased’s biographical details, family names, service information, and an optional photo.

How it’s used

Obituary information exists for one purpose: drafting and publishing the obituary the funeral home asked for. It is never sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or used to market to anyone. Families and the people named in obituaries are never contacted by us.

AI drafting

Obituary facts are processed by our AI provider solely to draft and revise the text you requested, and are not used to train models.

Published pages

An obituary page is visible only after the funeral home publishes it, at an unlisted link the funeral home controls and may share publicly (for example in a death notice). Unpublishing removes public access immediately. Deletion requests from families are honored directly: jess@precisionoutreach.com.

Processors & retention

We use a small number of infrastructure processors — hosting, database storage, and AI text drafting — bound by confidentiality obligations. No analytics trackers or advertising pixels on obituary pages. Funeral homes can delete any obituary (and its photo) at any time.
